The biggest challenge a brand faces during a topical event is to stand out in the crowd, and especially when that event is the Cricket World Cup where every other Brand is trying to leverage it. In order to leverage the craziness of the Cricket World Cup in India we came up with the concept Stadium In Your Home. An integrated marketing campaign that invited cricket fans across the country to play the match virtually and create a stadium online on a specially designed microsite. The campaign was supported by a targeted SEM ad campaign which was run to drive registrations and spread the buzz about ‘Stadium In Your Home’.On the offline front, we transformed the homes of 5 winners into stadiums on every match creating strong digital PR stories and buzz around F&D and its products.
