About the brand

Star World India is a 24-hour English language cable channel which airs popular shows from the United States, United Kingdom and sometimes Australia along with some local shows.

THE Objective

Star World Weekend Binge provided viewers an opportunity to observe all seasons of television's hottest series at one go, thereby showcasing quite 1200 hours of award–winning shows. Our motive was to create buzz around international shows on monthly basis and increase our share of voice on social media.

THE Approach

  • We partnered with Uber, Hyatt and Smoke House Deli. These partners conducted all the contests through their channels which amplified our reach.
  • We create an animated mascot called Binge Baba. This character played a crucial role, in order to have interactions and create awareness amongst the users. We focussed upon all out marketing campaigns of Digital Channel. We have promoted all the events using #StarWorldWeekendBinge.
